To view the automation options for your survey you can use the 'Automation Configuration' option, as below (available if you have the enhanced survey module):
This gives the options for a couple of automation options for this survey.
First, you can input custom email (Automated Survey Email) which is used along with a default greeting and survey link whenever this survey is sent automatically.
This could be if this is sent as a follow-up to another survey (see options for this later), or if this is set as the priority survey for an area, where this survey is set to be sent to users automatically for your area.
You can also set custom email content for if a location follow-up (see below) is sent for a particular question. The completion email for when the user has then submitted the location details can also be set here.
Secondly, for any multiple choice type question in the survey, you can set an automated follow-up to be sent after a selected time from submission of the survey.
You can use the automation button for any answer in a question to set the follow-up action:
This action can either be sending another survey that you have previously created as a follow-up to this, or this action can be requesting a location on a map using the 'ask for a location' option, the content for this request email is then set as above.
To view this location information that is provided in this way, when you view the live results for a question and view those answers on the map, the green pins will show the locations of the respondents, and the red pins will show the locations that have been submitted by respondents.
