To add a StreetWatch to the system, this can be done from the StreetWatch tab, pictured below:
Then select the Create StreetWatch option, on the left side of the screen.
From there, you should be on the screen pictured below.
When creating a StreetWatch, there are four required inputs: name, description, coverage, and the PCSO assigned to the Watch.
When setting the coverage for the StreetWatch, you can click on the map to set a point. The coverage should be made up of at least three points, where the first point overlaps with the first, to create an area, as per the image below. The mapping of the Streetwatch should cover the general operating area for the StreetWatch.
The last option is to assign a PCSO who will oversee the scheme. Schemes that are assigned to a PCSO will be the first they see when accessing the StreetWatch tab on the system. PCSOs that are assigned to a StreetWatch will also receive notifications when new members have been added by a StreetWatch SPOC / Admin, which require approving. You can select SPOC to assign using the dropdown list pictured below. In the dropdown list will be all administrator accounts on the site.
Once you have input all of these details, the StreetWatch can then be saved on the system.
