Translation Tool - Module Overview

Overview

The Translation Tool enables members to request an automatically translated version of any Alerts that they are sent. After selecting an additional language subsequent Alerts they receive will include a translated version of the message, the original version and a disclaimer regarding the automated nature of this translation, as this cannot be guaranteed to be 100% accurate by the sender in most cases.

Automation with surveys

When used in combination with the Survey Tool, a survey can be sent to members that includes a demographic question asking if they require any additional language for the Alerts. Answers to this survey question will then automatically update the settings in the accounts for those members that do select another language, to enable the automated translation of their Alerts.
