Overview
The Enhanced Survey Module provides facilities to deliver the Humber Talking / Derbyshire Talking type solution, enabling an evidence based, targeted approach to door-to-door database growth whilst delivering a local priority survey.
Features
- The module provides a mobile-first option within the Rapport admin area to highlight priority areas and households, with a digital 'carding' process to monitor and manage engagements and consent. Any Priority Addresses are also clearly highlighted within these options in Rapport.
- All team actions are tracked for best practice and overall the solution helps you to understand the needs and concerns of a community and provide more focused, relevant messaging.
- Additionally, the ability to access and understand the results and deliver targeted, issue based information to the public.
- Automation for re-sending of your Priority Survey at set intervals can be customised, to gather changing opinions over time.
Priority Targeting
Datasets of 'Origins' and 'Acorn' ethnicity and socio-economic information may also be used to help focus door-to-door surveys on certain 'Priority Addresses', for example engaging with under-represented communities. Details on these datasets can be found in their specific articles as linked above. Further advanced Targeting options can also be enabled via the Targeted Engagement Module too.
Automated Priority Surveys
Sending of your Priority Survey to your existing members can also be automated to send this to them upon their registration, and then at regular intervals afterwards, to easily gather data on public opinion as this changes over time.
Automated follow-up surveys
The enhanced survey module can also automatically deliver a follow-up survey based on respondents’ answers and ask them more about the issue they raised. This service provides confirmation that the respondents views are valued and have been acted on.
Importantly the simple follow up survey can ask the respondent to more accurately isolate the location of particular issues that they have identified such as Fly tipping, Graffiti or Drugs etc. Issue location evidence provided by the system can be used to assist in partner planning meetings to identify actual concerns, locations and numbers effected.
You said, we did: Message based on Priorities raised
The tools then enable centrally based administrators, and Neighbourhood officers whilst out and about, to quickly access the current feedback and issues for people in any area. Messages can also instantly be sent to people in the local vicinity based on the current issues they are concerned about.
Management Information
Every interaction by an officer whilst out and about following the above street list, can be visualised on interactive street maps and broken down by any area and date range. This enables you to: manage workload, identify best practice, group colleagues together for effective learning etc.
Delivering the survey
Many forces now have a dedicated program built around the Targeted Engagement module. See examples of the door to door engagement tool in action and some of the impact of it on community from this link: Talking Solutions
