Adding an Engagement with a KIN

When adding an engagement through the Engagement Tracker, if you have the KINs module enabled, you will see the below option to record an engagement against a KIN Asset. 
 

You should then see the option to select whether you are inviting people to this Engagement. Selecting yes will allow you to send a message about your engagement, see here.

 If you select no to 'Are you inviting people to this engagement', you'll then need to locate the KIN or KIN Asset using the search options as below:

Once you have located the relevant KIN Asset or KIN Contact for this engagement, using the search option as above, the contacts for that will be listed as below, where you can add the engagement against the relevant contact. (You can also select 'Location general engagement' if the engagement isn't with a particular contact).

You can then select the Type of Engagement, from the list of available KIN Engagement Types for your site:


Then add the date & time that the engagement took place, and the duration of the engagement:


 Finally, you can add the details of the outcome, and complete any specific KIN Engagement Outcome as shown on this page too, if the engagement has taken place.

You should then see the confirmation that this engagement has been successfully added, and have the option to add another.

 

Adding a KIN Engagement and sending an invite

If you instead select yest to 'Are you inviting people to this engagement', you can record an upcoming KIN engagement and send a message to invite members of the public.

Firstly, you can select the engagement type and fill in other information regarding the engagement.

From there, you can select the team and team members attending, and select the area that the engagement relates to.

From there, you can select the area you would like to send your message to:

You can then optionally filter your recipient list to only send to particular KIN categories, or KIN properties, or you can skip this if you want to send to just your selected area. From there, you can compose and send your message
