How to use the KINs module

KIN Map

Within this section you can:  

• View on a map any of the KIN Assets for an area, filtering by KIN Types and Asset Properties
• Filter KIN Assets by the Assets which have KIN Contacts added, or those which have none added
• Find KIN Assets that have recently been engaged with, or have not been engaged with recently
• Locate KIN contacts within a custom drawn area and add them to a recipient list to contact
• Add KIN Asset locations to a custom Targeting List, for surveying / engaging with
   

KIN Overview

Within this section you can view the KIN Assets for your areas, with the option to filter by KIN Categories and Types as well as KIN Asset Properties.

KIN Members Overview

Within this section you can view and contact KIN contacts, filtering by KIN Asset properties, and by KIN Types that they belong to.

Add Static Asset

Within this section you can add a new KIN Asset to the system, which may be a particular address  / property that doesn't exist in the system by default.

Create Single Person KIN

Within this section you can add a Single Person KIN.

KIN Category Overview

Within this section you can add, edit and remove KIN Categories and Types for your site.

KIN Assets Overview

Within this section you can add, edit and remove KIN Asset Categories and Types for your site.

KIN Engagements

In conjunction with the Engagement Tracker options in the system, you can record your engagements with your KINs, including custom outcomes for different types of engagements with your KINs.

KIN Engagement Types & Outcomes

Within this section you can set up the customisable KIN Engagement Outcomes for your KIN Engagement Types, so that you can gather any details needed per each type of engagement.

You can also access an overview of the current KIN Engagement Outcomes that have been added for your site.

KIN Glossary

KIN Category - Categories for your KIN types, these are often categories of locations e.g. accommodations, education etc, but may also be other categories such as Community Advisors or Elected Officials.

KIN Type - Individual KIN Types that sit below KIN Categories e.g. Flats, Hotels. Primary Schools or MPs, Ward Councillors etc.

KIN Asset Category - Categories for your KIN Asset Properties, these are often categories of roles e.g. Education, Elected Official.

KIN Asset Property - These Properties fall below the KIN Asset Categories and will usually be types of KIN contacts e.g. Primary Contact, Key Holder, Religious Leader, Head Teacher.

KIN Asset - The Individual addresses / properties which may have KIN Contacts stored against them, under the Asset Properties.

Static Asset - See: KIN Asset as above.

Single Person KIN - A KIN Asset where 1 particular person is connected to one particular address as a KIN contact.

KIN Contacts - Individuals stored against KIN Assets

KIN Engagements - These are engagements added onto the system that relate specifically to any KIN Types / Assets
